In October last year, CEC Capital signed a legal agreement to acquire Siemer & Associates (S&A), a US-based securities firm. Recently, the acquisition has been officially approved by the US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and been completed with S&A subsequently changing its name to CEC Capital (US). This also marks that the 17-year-old CEC Capital has officially positioned itself in the international capital market.

During the four months after the deal was completed, CEC Capital and the former S&A’s investment banking team, by working closely, have signed financial advisory agreements with several industry-leading US companies and completed an M&A transaction that involves the US telecom giant Verizon.
